THE OPPORTUNITY
As an AI Architect at Covalense Global, you will design and build core components in our flagship product and client-facing AI solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role - you will write code, make design decisions, and lead implementation of complex agent systems.
We are hiring for multiple architect profiles. Based on your strengths, you may focus on Platform Architecture (agent orchestration, registry, lifecycle), Data/ML Architecture (DataOps agents, pipelines), or Solutions Architecture (industry agents, client implementations).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Architecture & Design
● Design scalable, production-grade architectures for AI agent systems
● Define patterns for agent orchestration, state management, and inter-agent communication
● Architect integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems (APIs, databases, SaaS platforms)
● Create technical specifications, design documents, and architecture decision records
● Evaluate and recommend technologies: LLM providers, frameworks, vector DBs, cloud services
Development & Implementation
● Lead development of complex agent workflows and multi-agent systems
● Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks for AUREUS OS
● Implement RAG pipelines, embedding strategies, and knowledge management systems
● Develop DataOps agents for pipeline monitoring, data quality, and governance
● Write production-quality code with proper testing, documentation, and observability
Technical Leadership
● Mentor and guide senior developers and consultants on AI development practices
● Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture standards
● Collaborate with AI Evangelists to support POCs and client demos
● Participate in technical discussions with clients and provide solution guidance
● Contribute to estimation, planning, and technical risk assessment
● Join client calls to present solution architecture, demonstrate technical depth, and support pre-sales discussions
● Articulate complex AI agent designs to both technical and business audiences during client engagements
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
● Strong software architecture experience with distributed systems
● Hands-on expertise in LLM application development (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
● Production experience with agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)
● Deep Python proficiency with async programming and API development
● Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding models
● Cloud platform expertise (Azure and/or GCP) including AI/ML services
● Strong communication skills - can articulate technical decisions to stakeholders
Nice to Have (based on focus area)
● Platform Focus: Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven architecture, API gateway patterns
● Data/ML Focus: DataOps tools, Airflow/Dagster, data quality frameworks, MLOps
● Solutions Focus: FMCG/Retail domain, enterprise integrations (SAP, Salesforce)
● Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub) and real-time processing
